Luke McCown was selected by the Cleveland Browns in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft. McCown made four starts as a rookie for Cleveland. He went on to play for six different NFL teams, including stints in Tampa, Jacksonville, New Orleans, Atlanta and then back to New Orleans. In 2017, he signed with Dallas but was released before the start of the season.
On April 20, 2018, he announced his retirement from the NFL.
Luke is a follower of Jesus Christ and shared his story with us on The Increase, as he talked about God’s plan as a Christian and the importance of following through on it even in the toughest circumstances.
