Cal Eldred pitched for 15 MLB seasons from 1991-2005 with the Milwaukee Brewers, Chicago White Sox and St. Louis Cardinals.
In his post-playing career, he spent time as a baseball broadcaster with the Big Ten Network, and in 2017 was introduced as the Kansas City Royals pitching coach, a position he held until the end of the 2022 season.
