THE FEARLESS CHAMPION

In sports, especially football, we always seem to hear stories of people who take that extra step, fight for that extra yard and give it all they’ve got. When the odds are against you, it can be very tough. It’s not easy. But when we’re down and struggling, we can look to the One who took the price for us and knows exactly what we’re going through.

By leaving the comfort and security of home, He entered a fierce competition against a powerful dark force. The greatest ever born, yet He was willing to be nothing, so we could be something.

He touched the infectious skin of a leper to heal this isolated captive. He went the extra mile in the heat, just to redeem an outcast’s life. He lost His reputation to set a nameless prostitute free.

Though outnumbered by His opponents, He never gave up and He never gave in.
