INSIDE THE CHAPEL PODCAST: Oklahoma softball chaplain Sarah Roberts on comparison

THIS IS SPORTS SPECTRUM’S INSIDE THE CHAPEL PODCAST

Comparison is the thief of joy. You’ve probably heard that before, and it’s the cornerstone point of this week’s “Inside the Chapel” episode with University of Oklahoma softball chaplain Sarah Roberts.

Roberts talks about how if the enemy can’t cut us down, he’ll at least try to distract us and keep us busy. Causing us to compare ourselves to others is one way he tries to do that, as all of it keeps us focused on worldly pursuits instead of focusing on who God has called us to be and what God has called us to do. It’s OK to have passions and pursue certain things, but the order in which we do it matters. We must seek first the Kingdom of God, not our worldly pursuits.
