NEW PODCAST: Benjamin Watson - Former NFL Tight End

THIS IS EPISODE 544 OF THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST

Benjamin Watson played 16 seasons in the NFL with the Patriots, Browns, Saints and Ravens. He retired after the 2019 season with 547 career receptions and as a Super Bowl champion (in 2004-05 with the Patriots).

In retirement, one of Watson’s first projects has been serving with his wife, Kirsten, as executive producers on a new documentary called “Divided Hearts of America,” which released Sept. 17.

On today’s podcast, we talk to Watson about retirement, watching Drew Brees and Tom Brady play QB, his new documentary, and why it is important for him to cultivate conversations on difficult topics like race and abortion.
