Kurt Hines is a high school football coach at Coronado High School in San Diego, California. He’s been a football coach for 25 years and has helped guide teams to successful seasons on both the East and West Coasts.
In September 2021, Hines posted an inspiring video about a player of his on Twitter, where it would go viral with more than 1.9 million views. That video led to Hines’ platform increasing, and now with more than 60,000 followers on Twitter, he shares positive messages to audiences all over the country.
Today on the podcast, we talk to Coach Hines about that viral video, what led him to post that message, the desire to live for Christ, praying with his players, and why he believes coaching is just an opportunity for him to share the Gospel.
