SS PODCAST: Clemson play-by-play voice Don Munson on faith, broadcasting, fatherhood

Don Munson is the director of broadcasting for Clemson University Athletics, and the play-by-play voice for the Clemson football, men’s basketball and baseball teams. Additionally, he hosts weekly football and basketball coaches shows, works in conjunction with the video and communication departments to provide assistance with video features, hosts banquets and meetings, and represents the athletic department at various functions.

Munson began his broadcasting journey with Clemson in 1994, when he first joined as the network’s football pregame, halftime and “Fifth Quarter Show” host. A 1984 graduate of Appalachian State, he has served as a broadcaster for more than 30 years.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Don Munson about the ascension of Clemson football, his relationship with head coach Dabo Swinney, how his faith in Christ keeps him centered, being the dad of a special needs child, and why he is so open about sharing Jesus with others.
