Matt Duchene is a center with the Nashville Predators now in his 14th season in the NHL. He was selected third overall in the 2009 NHL Draft by the Colorado Avalanche and made his NHL debut that same year as a 19-year-old rookie.
The 31-year-old is a two-time All-Star (2011, 2016), and last season enjoyed his best year with a career-high 86 points, 43 goals and 228 shots, along with 43 assists (second-best in his career).
Today on the podcast, we talk to Matt Duchene about his hockey career, growing as a believer in Christ, and how his mental health has become a big priority for him after dealing with severe anxiety.
