David Carr is a wrestler at Iowa State. He is a four-time All-American (2020, 2021, 2022, 2023) and in 2021 was the national champion at 157 pounds. In 2022, he placed third overall (157 lbs.), and in 2023 finished as the runner-up (165 lbs.).

The four-time Big 12 champion was one of the nation’s top recruits out of high school after he was a five-time state champion at Perry High in Canton, Ohio. His dad, Nate Carr, was a Cyclone wrestling legend and served as David’s coach in high school.

Today on the podcast, we talk to David Carr about being bold in his faith, wrestling for an audience of One, and being able to find peace and joy in the wins and losses of wrestling.
