SS PODCAST: Former MLB pitcher Storm Davis on World Series wins, walking with Jesus

Storm Davis is a former MLB pitcher who played 12 seasons with the Baltimore Orioles, San Diego Padres, Oakland A’s, Kansas City Royals and Detroit Tigers. He made his MLB debut at the age of 20 with the Orioles in April 1982, and one year later was pitching in the World Series against the Philadelphia Phillies and helping Baltimore to a championship. He went on to pitch in two more World Series and help Oakland to a title in 1989.

After retiring from baseball following the 1994 season, Davis went into coaching both at the professional and amateur levels. He currently serves as a baseball coach with Trinity Christian Academy in Jacksonville, Florida.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Storm Davis about winning a World Series at age 21, meeting U.S. presidents, walking with Jesus, and what it means to sit at the foot of the cross.
