Luke McCown played quarterback in the NFL from 2004-2016. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2004 NFL Draft by the Cleveland Browns, and also spent parts of his 12-year career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Jacksonville Jaguars, Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints.
In 2017, McCown was inducted into the Louisiana Tech Athletics Hall of Fame. One of his brothers, Josh, was a longtime NFL quarterback (2002-2019) and is now a coach with the Carolina Panthers, and Luke’s other brother, Randy, played QB at Texas A&M (1995-1999).
Today on the podcast, we talk to Luke McCown about parenting a high school QB with college aspirations, the importance of prayer, his perspective on the new Netflix QB documentary, his favorite NFL play, and watching his brother Josh become an NFL coach.
