THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING KENT CHEVALIER
Kent Chevalier is the team chaplain for the Pittsburgh Steelers, serving them through the ministry of Athletes in Action. He was named to the role before the 2019 season. Prior to the Steelers, he was a pastor for 22 years in the Pittsburgh area.
Today on the show, we talk to Kent Chevalier about what it means to deflect the glory, how to walk with Jesus, and the experience of praying at the 50-yard line after each NFL game.
Always one of my favorite images each week capturing the two teams pray. Seeing and hearing players like @minkfitz_21 and the @steelers Chaplin Kent Chevalier profess the faith and beliefs at the 50 is always a special moment to capture. Restores my faith in my life seeing this.… pic.twitter.com/voR4QrHIr2
