SS PODCAST: Buccaneers long snapper Zach Triner on unlikely NFL journey, prioritizing faith

Zach Triner is the long snapper with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played his college football at Division II Assumption College in Worcester, Massachusetts, as a defensive end and long snapper, then went undrafted in the 2015 NFL Draft. After signing futures contracts and spending time on the New York Jets and Green Bay Packers practice squads, Triner joined the Buccaneers in 2019 and is now entering his sixth season in 2024.

Triner also is a Super Bowl champion, helping the Buccaneers to a title in the 2020-21 season.

Today on the podcast, Zach Triner shares his improbable journey of making it to the NFL and the power of commitment, faith and reprioritizing life. He recounts a divine encounter that led him to find direction and faith in California, and eventually getting his big break with the Buccaneers.
