SS PODCAST: Former NFL QB Chase Daniel on retiring, broadcasting, embracing fatherhood

Chase Daniel is a former NFL quarterback who played 14 years with the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and L.A. Chargers. He entered the league as an undrafted free agent in 2009 with Washington, but eventually signed with the Saints and won Super Bowl XLIV his first season. In college at Missouri, Daniel was the 2007 Big 12 Offensive Player of the Year, a Heisman Trophy finalist, and remains the school’s leader in passing yards (12,515) and passing touchdowns (101).

He is now a media personality working with FOX Sports, The Athletic and hosting the “Chase Daniel Show” on YouTube.

Today on the podcast, Chase Daniel discusses his transition from playing in the NFL to a career in media and being a present father to his three children. He also shares about the importance of having a strong identity in Christ and how it has helped him navigate the challenges of transitioning out of football.
