Preston Spradlin is the men’s basketball head coach at James Madison University (Harrisonburg, Virginia). Prior to arriving at JMU in March 2024, he spent the previous nine seasons at Morehead State, where he led his team to two NCAA Tournament berths, including 2023-24.

Prior to his time at Morehead State, Spradlin spent five seasons with the University of Kentucky basketball program and head coach John Calipari. Spradlin spent two campaigns (2009-11) as a graduate assistant with the Wildcats before three years as the assistant director of operations (2011-14).

Today on the podcast, Preston Spradlin shares about saying “yes” to take the job as head coach at James Madison. He emphasizes the importance of making a move that aligns with personal and professional goals, and the impact it has on the entire coaching staff and their families.
