Pujols became the ninth member of the 600 Home Run Club and the first to ever reach number 600 with a Grand Slam.

At 37, Albert became the 4th youngest to reach that illustrious mark, joining Alex Rodriguez, Babe Ruth and Hank Aaron.

After the game, Pujols took to Facebook to share his appreciation and give thanks to God for his accomplishments.

I thank God for the incredible opportunity to play the game of baseball, and for blessing me in a special way last night. #600 was for my family, friends, and fans.

My work on the field is always for something greater; to glorify God and to serve others.

Albert Pujols is a lock for the Baseball Hall of Fame someday, but for now, he’s focused on pointing people back to Jesus through baseball.
