Tim Tebow Hits Walk-Off Home Run

Tim Tebow continues to amaze in his venture as a professional baseball player.

On Thursday Night, Tebow hit a walk-off home run to lead the St. Lucie Mets to a 5-4 win over the Daytona Tortugas.

Tebow came to the plate with one out in the second game of a doubleheader and lined a shot over the left field fence to give the Mets a sweep of the Tortugas.

Minor League baseball doubleheaders only play seven full innings, meaning Tebow’s shot was hit in the bottom of the seventh in the second game of the doubleheader.

Since being promoted to St. Lucie from Columbia on June 25, the former Heisman Trophy winner is batting .326 with 3 home runs.
