Kevin Thompson was born premature at just 2 pounds, 7 ounces and went through nine surgeries over the past 15 years. He’s also a huge New York Knicks fan, and on Sunday, he was give one of the greatest gifts of his life by his favorite team.

Thompson wore a number 2 jersey that the team had gifted him and joined Knicks players in the locker room, in warmups and in player introductions, prior to New York’s matchup with the Atlanta Hawks.

To cap off a great day for Kevin, his Knicks won the game 111-107 over the Hawks. Kristaps Porzingis score 30 points to give them their 15th win on the season.
