Late Sunday Night, more than 50 people were killed and more than 500 injured when a lone gunman opened fire at an outdoor country music festival at the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in the deadliest shooting in modern U.S. history.
People around the country and the world are shocked and disheartened by this tragedy, including former and current christian athletes, who took to social media to express their sadness and offer prayers.
