Sports world comes to the aid of bullied middle-schooler Keaton Jones

This past weekend, a video started to surface of a middle school student named Keaton Jones, who was sharing with his mother, the emotional toll that bullying from fellow students was taking on him.

“People that are different don’t need to be criticized about it,” an emotional Jones said in the viral video. “it’s not their fault. If you are made fun of, just don’t let it bother you and stay strong I guess. It’ll probably get better one day.”

The video began to go viral late on Saturday and by Sunday, many people around the country, including athletes and others in the sports world, took to twitter to offer their encouragement, share the video and to tell Keaton how much he is valued and loved.

“For you created my inmost being;  you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made;   your works are wonderful,  I know that full well.” – Psalm 139:13-14
