Chad Prewett is an assistant coach with the Auburn men’s basketball team. He joined the Tigers in 2014 and has served in various roles in basketball operations and was elevated to assistant coach in August 2023.
Prewett joined the college ranks following a seven-year run at Lee-Scott Academy in Auburn as both the boys and girls basketball coach, as well as the track coach. He led the varsity boys basketball team to the Alabama Independent School Association 2012 state championship, and a runner-up finish in 2011. He led the girls program to four AISA state titles in 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2013.
