Sam Acho played nine seasons in the NFL with the Arizona Cardinals, Chicago Bears and Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He was selected in the fourth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by Arizona after a stellar collegiate career with the Texas Longhorns. He is currently an ESPN analyst, author of two books, and the host of “The Sam Acho Podcast.”

Today, Sam Acho returns to the show to talk with his former teammate, Matt Forte, about their days with the Chicago Bears, what life is like now as a broadcaster, what it means to have limits and tradeoffs, and his love for the country of Nigeria.

Adam Thielen played 13 seasons in the NFL with the Minnesota Vikings, Carolina Panthers and Pittsburgh Steelers. He was originally undrafted in 2013 after a stellar career with Division-II Minnesota State. He spent his first 10 NFL seasons with the Vikings before moving to Carolina in 2023 and 2024. In his final season of 2025, he returned to Minnesota before finishing with the Steelers.

His 13-year career includes two Pro Bowl invitations, three 1,000-yard receiving seasons, and an NFL-record eight straight games in which he surpassed 100 receiving yards in 2018.

Today on the podcast, Adam Thielen talks with Matt Forte about his decision to retire from the NFL in 2026, the feeling he’ll have watching an NFL game on a Sunday for the first time, his incredible journey from Division-II undrafted player to Pro Bowl wide receiver, and how choosing to follow Jesus has been the cornerstone of his life.

Nathan Carter is a second-year running back with the Atlanta Falcons. He went undrafted in April 2025 but signed with Atlanta, where he was able to make the team out of training camp and play in seven games his rookie season. He played his college football at UConn and Michigan State.

Today on the podcast, Nathan Carter shares about the difference between Year 1 and Year 2 in preparation for the NFL season. He also speaks on his faith in Jesus, how he’s moved to tell others about Christ, and serving with Compassion International on a mission trip with his wife earlier this year.
