Denny Duron is the head coach of the football program at Evangel Christian Academy in Shreveport, Louisiana. The longtime senior pastor of Shreveport Community Church was a college quarterback at Louisiana Tech, which he helped win the 1972 and 1973 Division II national championships. He was also named the 1973 Southland Conference MVP.
After college, Duron played in the World Football League for two years and signed with the NFL’s Washington Redskins in 1976 before going into ministry.
