“And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.” Hebrews 13:16

A Better Place

Each year, my son and I go on a duck and goose hunting trip to North Dakota. The joy we share during this time of fellowship is something God wants for every family. It’s not necessarily what we do that matters, it’s the fellowship. It’s a time that I can give back to my son and build into his life, through my time and through things I’ve learned. Time together and what you do for people speaks of your love and concern for them.

The movie “Pay it Forward” had a powerful impact on people because it was a story about a child who did good deeds to people he didn’t know so that he could attempt to make the world a better place.

Think of something kind you can do for a loved one, teammate, neighbor or perhaps even a stranger. Whether it’s spending time with them or merely doing something for them.

I pray all who read this will begin to appreciate life more than ever by giving to others, and in return make the world a better place by showing Christ to those in need of seeing Him today.
