Confidence vs. Arrogance

Act like you have been there before! I remember reading about Minnesota Vikings coach Bud Grant and how he wanted his players to respond after scoring a touchdown. Unfortunately, most of today’s NFL, college and even high school stars carry their success to extremes.

I am hopeful that you will put the words of James into practice. There are many ways that we can allow the love of Christ to live through us, but obviously our behavior during athletic competition will speak volumes.

We will never win every game, but we will have multiple opportunities to show great sportsmanship.

Put on your game face before the kickoff and allow Christ to shine.
