“And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men,” Colossians 3:23 (NKJV)

Star Of The Game

On Easter Sunday 2006, Albert Pujols hit three home runs to help the Cardinals beat the Reds 8-7.

Afterword, KTRS, the Cardinals’ flagship station, broadcasted their ‘Star of the Game’ segment and featured Pujols. The interviewer noted that Pujols had hit very well on previous Easter Sundays, and asked if there was any connection.

Pujols immediately replied by thanking Jesus for being his Savior and giving him the ability to play well. He said he wanted to glorify Jesus with his baseball playing skills and especially on Easter Sunday because “…this is His day!”

Wow! What a testimony over the airwaves to thousands of listeners!

Do you have abilities that the Lord Jesus Christ has blessed you? Like Pujols, why not use them to glorify Jesus in your everyday life!
