“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6
Life Without Limits
One of my favorite things about watching the drafts for professional sports leagues is seeing how excited the players are when they hear their name called. All the sacrifices made by the draft picks and people around them allowed their dream of becoming a professional athlete come true. One thing every athlete who gets picked has in common is that they set an ambitious goal and then worked to achieve it.
One of the dangers we face as Christians is not aiming high enough. If we allow ourselves or other people to limit our dreams, we can’t become everything God designed us to be. The size of our dreams has a direct correlation to the amount of faith we have in God and His plan for us. We should set lofty objectives for ourselves because we believe God is powerful enough to help us reach them.
God has a vision for every single person’s life that we can’t begin to comprehend. We don’t know His plan, so we should keep an open mind about what God might have in store for us. With God, the possibilities are endless as long as we have the courage and faith to believe.
