Lance Berkman played 15 seasons in the major leagues (1999-2013), was named to six All-Star Games and won a World Series in 2011 with the St. Louis Cardinals.
He was inducted into the Houston Astros Hall of Fame in 2020 and is currently a baseball coach at his alma mater, Rice University.
Lance Berkman joins his former teammate and longtime friend Scott Linebrink on today’s “Get in the Game” podcast to discuss his “Big Puma” nickname, the “fake injuries” he had in his back pocket during his playing days, his walk with Jesus, and why coaching baseball is a part of his ministry.
