THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING STEVE STENSTROM
Steve Stenstrom is a former NFL quarterback who played six seasons with the Chicago Bears, San Francisco 49ers, Detroit Lions and Denver Broncos. In college, Stenstrom was a standout quarterback for Stanford under coaches Denny Green and Bill Walsh. He still holds numerous Stanford passing records, including career passing yards (10,911) and career completions (866).
After his playing career ended in 2001, Stenstrom went into sports ministry at Stanford, and is currently the president of Pro Athletes Outreach and Sports Spectrum.
Today on the podcast, we talk to Stenstrom about his journey to Jesus, his NFL draft experience, grieving the loss of his brother, turning 50 years old, leading a pro athlete ministry, and what it was like to play with wide receivers Jerry Rice and Terrell Owens.
We live in a confused world.
There is only one way to live.
His name is Jesus. #followHim
