THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING BRYANT YOUNG
Bryant Young is a former defensive tackle who played his entire 14-year NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers (1994-2007).
After a standout collegiate career at Notre Dame, Young was selected in the first round of the 1994 NFL Draft (seventh overall) by San Francisco, and he went on to win a Super Bowl and be named to four Pro Bowls. He was also named first-team All-Pro in 1996, and second-team All-Pro in 1998, 1999 and 2001. He was a member of the 1990s All-Decade Team and was inducted into the San Francisco 49ers Hall of Fame in 2020, followed by the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2022.
Today on the podcast, we talk to Young about being elected to the Hall of Fame, the gratitude he has to God, being honored at the Super Bowl, honoring the Lord in his Hall of Fame speech, and reflecting on how his faith in Jesus has grown through the years as reaches age 50.
Thank you to everyone for the warm wishes on my induction into #PFHOF22. I appreciate all the love and support these past few days. It has been overwhelming. Thank you so much! #FTTB #Faithful #Godisable https://t.co/2JsXxmgG76
