THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING CLARISSE GARCIA

Clarisse Garcia is the women’s basketball head coach at Charleston Southern University. Prior to starting her current role in May 2021, she had coaching stops at Seton Hall, Stetson, Alabama, Auburn and Wake Forest.

As a college basketball player at Villanova (2003-07), Garcia was a three-time Big East all-academic team member, and a team captain her senior season.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Garcia about her first season as the head coach at Charleston Southern, the lessons she learned in a difficult season, finding joy in the trials, and why her faith is the most important part of her life.
