SS PODCAST: LSU softball coach Lindsay Leftwich on loving her players like Jesus

Lindsay Leftwich is an assistant softball coach with Louisiana State. She is involved with all aspects of the program — defense, hitting, recruiting, video scouting and camps. Since joining LSU, she has been a part of multiple runs to the Women’s College World Series (2012, 2015, 2016 and 2017).

An excellent student-athlete at Northwestern State University (Natchitoches, Louisiana), Leftwich garnered numerous academic accolades, including Verizon Academic All-District Team recognition in 2002 and 2004, and NFCA Scholar Athlete recognition from 2001-04. In 2005, she earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a minor in art and substance abuse prevention.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Lindsay Leftwich about her calling as a coach, supporting her players who want to go deeper in their faith, what it means to love her players like Jesus, and what true victory is.
