SS PODCAST: College basketball referee Nate Harris on using his platform to share Gospel

THIS IS THE SPORTS SPECTRUM PODCAST
WITH JASON ROMANO, FEATURING NATE HARRIS

Nate Harris is a Division I college basketball referee. He started officiating as a junior in high school, eventually working high school games. He’s now in college basketball, officiating in the Pac-12, Mountain West, Big Sky and WAC conferences.

In April 2020, Nate and his wife, Jessica, began holding prayer calls on Zoom amidst the pandemic. The prayer call turned into weekly devotionals, and now MND (Monday Night Devotional) Ministries, through which he is helping equip and disciple local referees in a relationship with God.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Nate Harris about representing Christ as a college basketball official, and using the platform of a referee to help equip others in their faith.
