SS PODCAST: Former Purdue guard Courtney Delks on using basketball to share the Gospel

Courtney Delks is a former women’s college basketball player at Purdue University. When she finished her career in 2014, she was eighth on the program’s all-time scoring list (1,674 points). She also finished as the all-time leader in 3-pointers made (240) and free-throw percentage (90.6%), and was fourth in 3-point percentage (39.7%). For her efforts, Delks was named to the All-Big Ten first team as a senior in 2013-2014, and she capped her career with four straight NCAA Tournament appearances.

At Oak Hill High School in Converse, Indiana, Delks led the Golden Eagles to a four-year record of 97-9, including two state championship game appearances. She was named 2010 Indiana High School Miss Basketball and Indiana Gatorade Player of the Year.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Courtney Delks about her love for Jesus, using basketball to point people to the Gospel, being a spiritual leader as a college basketball player, and why she started the Compete Training Academy.
