SS PODCAST: Former NFL player & coach Frank Reich on his future, intimacy with Christ

Frank Reich is a former NFL quarterback and NFL head coach. He played his college football at the University of Maryland and was selected in the third round of the 1985 NFL Draft by the Buffalo Bills. He was a part of four Super Bowl teams with Buffalo, serving as the primary backup to Jim Kelly from 1985-1994. He finished his last four seasons in the NFL with the Carolina Panthers, New York Jets and Detroit Lions before retiring in 1998.

In 2006, he started his NFL coaching journey and served as an assistant with the Indianapolis Colts under Tony Dungy and Jim Caldwell. After stops with the Arizona Cardinals and San Diego Chargers, he became the offensive coordinator with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2016, helping the club to a Super Bowl championship in 2017-18. He got his first opportunity to be a head coach with the Colts in 2018 and served in that position until 2022. In 2023, he coached 11 games with the Panthers.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Frank Reich about the importance of living out his faith in all aspects of life, including his career as a player, coach and minister. He also talks about the concept of staying ready and being prepared for whatever challenges come his way. The conversation touches on his coaching career, his time with the Bills and the Eagles, and the joy and trials he experienced along the way.
