SS PODCAST: Former NFL defensive back Cody Davis on his Christ journey, decision to retire

Cody Davis is a former NFL defensive back who played 11 seasons with the St. Louis/Los Angeles Rams, Jacksonville Jaguars and New England Patriots. He was signed by the Rams in 2013 after going undrafted following a college career at Texas Tech, where he was a second-team All-Big 12 selection in 2011 and 2012.

Davis played five seasons with the Rams, two with the Jaguars and his final four seasons with the Patriots. On Dec. 24, 2023, Davis scored his first career touchdown after recovering a fumble in a 26-23 win over the Denver Broncos.

Today on the podcast, Cody Davis discusses his decision to retire from the NFL after 11 seasons, scoring his first NFL touchdown in his final year, giving his life to Jesus, and finding his firm foundation in Christ as a pro football player.
