2017 has been pretty good to Aaron Judge.
The New York Yankees outfielder set the rookie home run record, had a two-run shot to lead New York over Minnesota in the AL Wild Card game on Tuesday, and now has baseball’s most popular-selling jersey.
Judge’s No. 99 tops the list of the best-selling jerseys sold from MLBShop.com since Opening Day, according to Sports Illustrated.
Judge becomes the second rookie to have the best-selling jersey since Chicago Cubs star Kris Bryant in 2015.
The Rookie of the Year and MVP candidate hit 52 home runs this season, most ever by a rookie and quickly carried that over to the AL Wild Card game, lining a two-run shot over the left-field wall against the Twins.
