Josh Lindblom played seven seasons in the major leagues with six different teams. After being drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the second round of the 2008 MLB Draft, he made his MLB debut with L.A. in June 2011, and later had stints with the Philadelphia Phillies, Texas Rangers, Oakland A’s, Pittsburgh Pirates and Milwaukee Brewers.

But he credits a lot of his development as a player and a man to his time pitching in the Korean Baseball Organization. He found immense success during his five seasons in the KBO. In 2019, he won the league’s Most Valuable Player award and helped his Doosan Bears team win a Korean Series championship in 2019. In 2018 and 2019, he won the Choi Dong-won Award, the KBO’s equivalent to the Cy Young Award, given to the league’s best pitcher. Following his final stint in the KBO, where he proved to be one of the league’s best players, he returned the major leagues to finish his career with the Brewers in 2020 and ’21.

Lindblom joins “Get in the Game” this week to talk about the highs and lows of his career, what led him to make the tough decision to play in the KBO, and what he learned about God through all the changes of scenery in his career.
