Stephen Curry is the reigning 2-time NBA MVP. He’s also a follower of Jesus Christ and earlier this week, he made a visit to Liberty University and shared his testimony as part of the school’s Convocation.
“The Lord has blessed me with these talents to do something special. But It’s not about me. Winning games, losing games, missing shots, making shots, it doesn’t matter. It’s all about giving glory to God.”
Curry’s faith has always been a central part of his life. “I’m proud to be a child of God,” said Curry. “It’s in His name that we play and go out and perform and compete and using the gifts He’s given us in the right way.”
Stephen’s appearance at Liberty helped raise over 20,000 pairs of sneakers for people who desperately need them in the Congo as part of the Kickin’ It for a Cause.
