Throwback Thursday: Dave Dravecky, January 1990

In June of 1991, Dave Dravecky lost his left arm when it was amputated due to a malignant cancerous tumor. This would be a tough loss for anyone, but Dave Dravecky’s left arm had taken him places: a lefty pitcher for the San Diego Padres and San Francisco Giants, Dravecky’s powerful pitches had made him an All-Star and two-time World Series pitcher.

Read how Dravecky trusted God with his life as his cancer progressed and his baseball career tragically ended. He works in Christian ministry and is a motivational speaker and author today.
