GET IN THE GAME PODCAST: Cody Allen - Former MLB Pitcher

THIS IS THE GET IN THE GAME PODCAST
WITH SCOTT LINEBRINK

Cody Allen played eight years in the major leagues, all but one of them in Cleveland. He spent the bulk of that time as the closer, locking down wins for a Cleveland team that played in the 2016 World Series. His season high for saves came in 2015 when he racked up 34, and he had two other seasons with 30 or more saves.

Aside from helping his team win games, he was also passionate about living out his faith in the clubhouse and on the field. He joins Scott Linebrink this week on “Get in the Game” to reflect on the highs and lows of his career, and how faith helped him keep a positive perspective on what can be a results-oriented profession full of pressure.

“Get in the Game” is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network.
