NBA guard Jeremy Lin shares Bible verse on Instagram after being traded

Jeremy Lin is now an Atlanta Hawk.

ESPN reports the 29-year-old Lin was traded late Thursday night from the Brooklyn Nets for Brooklyn’s 2020 second-round pick via Portland and the rights to Isaia Cordinier.

Lin is coming off of season that saw him play in only one game after suffering a season-ending ruptured patellar tendon on opening night in October 2017.

After the announcement, Lin took to Instagram to share his reaction with a simple Bible verse and hashtag.

Lin, who has always made his faith in Jesus a priority, burst onto the NBA scene with “Linsanity” while playing for the the New York Knicks back in 2011-12.

Since then, Lin has had a productive career, averaging 12 points or more in six of his eight seasons. Atlanta will be the seventh different NBA team that he’ll play for.
