Cowboys QB Dak Prescott was having a career season through four games. On Sunday, he was on pace for another great game when he went down with a gruesome leg injury halfway through the third quarter of Dallas’ game against the New York Giants.
After Prescott was looked at by trainers, Cowboys players came to console their QB. A noticeably emotional Prescott was then carted off the field as he waved his fist in the air to the crowd at AT&T Stadium.
The immediate reaction on social media by many in the pro football world was to offer prayers and condolences to Prescott:
