“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.” Proverbs 3:5-6 (NKJV)

All Your Heart

The Boston Red Sox started the 2018 MLB season with a 17-2 record. It was the best start in the franchise’s 118-year history. It seemed like nobody could beat them. And then on Saturday April 21, A’s pitcher Sean Manaea didn’t just end the Red Sox 8-game winning streak, he threw a no-hitter and pitched the game of his life against baseball’s best team.

Life has its ups and downs. It has its winning streaks and occasionally a game where we just can’t seem to get a hit. But in these moments, we must always trust in the Lord with everything we have. With ALL OUR HEART.  Sometimes it doesn’t make sense, but if we truly acknowledge Jesus Christ in all we do, He will surely make our paths straight and lead us where we need to go.
