By leaving the comfort and security of home, He entered a fierce competition against a powerful dark force. The greatest ever born, yet was willing to be nothing so we could be something.
He touched the infectious skin of a leper to heal this isolated captive. He went the extra mile, in the heat, just to redeem an outcast’s life. He lost His reputation to set a nameless prostitute free.
Misunderstood, tempted, rejected, threatened, abandoned, betrayed, mocked, yet He stood firm. Badly bleeding, He walked a mountain alone, while carrying the weight of a world that stood against Him.
Though outnumbered by His opponents, He never gave in. He never gave up.
