“There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear…” — 1 John 4:18

The Fearless Champion

By leaving the comfort and security of home, he entered a fierce competition against a powerful dark force. The greatest ever born, yet was willing to be nothing, so we could be something.

He touched the infectious skin of a leper to heal this isolated captive. He went the extra mile, in the heat, just to redeem an outcast’s life. He lost His reputation to set a nameless prostitute free.

Misunderstood, tempted, rejected, threatened, abandoned, betrayed, mocked, yet He stood firm. Badly bleeding, He walked a mountain alone, while carrying the weight of a world that stood against Him.

Though outnumbered by His opponents He never gave in, He never gave up. And He took the ultimate victory on the cross.

JESUS won!
