Rudy Gonzalez is a former United States Marine who spent the majority of his tenure with the special forces as a Marine Recon. He now works for SERT Ministries — which stands for Search, Evangelize, Rescue and Train — where his work centers on rescuing trafficking victims. He has also done private security for Samaritan’s Purse, worked as a pastor and taken numerous humanitarian trips overseas, including one to Liberia to fight Ebola.

Gonzalez talks with Scott Linebrink in today’s podcast about service, his faith journey and the important work he’s doing with SERT. He also shares several stories from his time in the military and from his trips abroad.
