THIS IS THE GET IN THE GAME PODCAST
WITH SCOTT LINEBRINK
Mike Wilson is the co-founder and executive director of myLIFEspeaks, a nonprofit organization aimed at providing opportunities for the people of Haiti to experience all that life has to offer, regardless of ability, disability, wealth or status.
The organization works to provide desperately-needed programs and services, including education and nutrition programs for new mothers, physical and occupational therapy services, feeding programs for at-risk youth to help eliminate malnutrition, general and special education for elementary school students, family placement for orphaned children, employment opportunities, and more.
Haiti was recently rocked by a 7.2 magnitude earthquake and subsequent tropical storm. If you are interested in learning more about myLIFEspeaks and how you can help Haitians, especially in the midst of the current devastation, please visit mylifespeaks.com.
You can also learn what Compassion International, one of Sports Spectrum’s partners, is doing to serve those affected in Haiti as well by visiting compassion.com.
On today’s podcast, Scott Linebrink talks with Wilson about the great work myLIFEspeaks is doing in Haiti, the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere.
Get in the Game is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network.
