THIS IS THE GET IN THE GAME PODCAST
WITH SCOTT LINEBRINK
Joakim Soria recently retired after a 15-year career in the major leagues, most of which was spent as a closer. He accumulated nearly 800 appearances with nine different teams and racked up 229 career saves. He was named an All-Star in 2008 and 2010.
But as Soria tells Scott Linebrink on this week’s “Get in the Game,” his identity is much more than just baseball. Throughout his career he poured his heart into serving others, and he now works with Water Mission to serve in his home country of Mexico. In this week’s interview, Soria talks about what service means to him and how his faith in God is at the center of all he does.
“Get in the Game” is part of the Sports Spectrum Podcast Network.
