SS PODCAST: MLB Network analyst Sean Casey on playoff baseball, serving with Water Mission

Sean Casey is a broadcaster with the MLB Network and host of his own podcast, “The Mayor’s Office.” A former major leaguer, he made his MLB debut with Cleveland in 1997 and was a three-time All-Star in 12 seasons with Cleveland, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Detroit and Boston.

He was a member of the 2006 Detroit Tigers team that won the American League pennant, and he hit .529 in the 2006 World Series with two home runs. He announced his retirement from baseball in 2009, and three years later was inducted into the Cincinnati Reds’ Hall of Fame.

Today on the podcast, we talk to Sean Casey about his work with Water Mission, how his faith guides him toward serving, playing in the 2006 World Series, and his favorite stories from talking with opposing players at first base.
